Hi a friend have me a hammer skeleton that had a few buds on it had some palys that grew out after it was in my tank. I was hoping to get some input about what to do if anything about the bud/buds being overshadowed by the palys. Also any input about orientation when I mount it, the buds are all around it. I'll post pics. Thanks for your time

I'd take a sharp knife and scrape the palys off. They could go on a new frag plug.

The for the input. Do you think there is any risk of hurting the skeleton and causing the buds harm? Im Kinda new to fragging.

The skeleton is dead bone. It should be quite hard. And I'd use the knife with a scraping motion, not a cutting motion (i.e. the blade at a 90 degree angle to the skeleton). Put the blade to the skeleton close to the buds and pull away from them.

Good luck. It's really not that hard to do.
