posted this on my tank thread but i figured id try this thread too

anyone here have experience with watching a hammer coral split?
mine hasnt been looking so happy the last couple of weeks he extends to a regular width but his polyps stay small, i havent been able to find a similar picture online to my issue, i have 2 other frogspawns and two torches in my tank and they look great, always a full and plump extension and my fiji torch is 3 times the size it was when i got him but little hammer just doesnt fit in...unfortunately i dont have a photo right now (will post later) but if anyone has an idea about what could be going on or what to look for for signs of splitting id really appreciate it!

This is the best I could get
Ignore the flash lol

When my hammer splits it shows no sign, its such a gradual process anyway.

The center of my hammer swells. Looks similar to a blister. It is a slow process
