I've had this little hammer head for about 2 months now. When I bought him I drip acclimated it for a hour. Now it's fully split and became 2 heads. My question is, when I see other branching hammerheads at my LFS the polyps all seem to be very tightly packed where as my hammerhead looks like a mini tree with a lot of the polyps dropping. Is this ok? It is under my maxspect r420r 160W.

MY frogspawn was almost 50% white when I bought it, I assumed it was supposed to be like this (this is my first saltwater tank) I'm pretty sure it was bleached now that I know better, however the tank it was in at the LFS had some pretty crappy lighting. Is this bleaching or natural? It has a ton more green tips now.

Tank is 29g
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
nitrates 2ppm
phosphate 0.00 (hanna checker)
Calcium 440ppm
Mag 1450 ppm
alk 3.5 meg/l

It looks bleached, but the color should come back. I bought one from a local reefer that was all bleached out. When the color came back it was a nice blue color with green hues.

When I first got it

Yeah I have always noticed the tentacles on mine where pretty see through. I've had it now for about a month and 3 of the 5 heads are begging to split. So I guess its not doing to bad. Your frogspawn looks amazing!

Thank you very much. I love euphyllia corals. I have a few different color variations. Just keep yours low in the tank and the color should come back
