So I'm looking for hammers but when I google images I only ever see gold and green ones. That got me wondering what varieties of hammers are there? If you have a hammer coral or corals I would like the price you bought it for, colours, and a picture!

I have three hammers. A green ($60), a gold ($90), and some pale one that I bought from a local reefer(green maybe but very pale ($40).

I only seem to have pics on my phone of the first 2. Here they are as my lights were going off. The colors are correct but the corals aren't extended.

Here they are (Gold one mostly) fully open but the colors are a little more vibrant in person.

ETA the gold one is better looking than the picture shows. If I remember I will get a better picture of it tomorrow. Here is a screenshot from the store I bought it from that hopefully shows the colors better than my photo

30 bucks for 5 heads turned into a few thousand. Was selling them for 5 bucks a head. RBTAs were 5 too

Wow, how long did that take to grow out?
I filled that tank to the top in 2 years under MH and VHO lighting , what you see there is whats left over as I planned to do a new grow out, but I had my LEDs turned on to high and all growth stopped. I just recently turned lights and started growth again. Most of what you see is from 3 months. Pick below was where my 210g started from.

I have a green splatter hammer. I also just bought an orange hammer that will arrive on Friday. Most hammers will be green, yellow, orange, gold, peach, teal, purple and “rainbow” which really isn’t very rainbow in most cases

I have a purple tipped frammer I bought for $35 at LFS.....the greenish ones on top.

A mint green hammer I bought from Unique Corals for $44....middle of pic.

Also a purple hammer from a hobbyist in Ohio for $15....the second pic between the big hammer and the small frammer.

Is it mint green or bleached? It looks cool!

It is minty, the pic makes it look more pale, actually one of the new heads which is on the left side of the mass is slightly paler than the other heads. If you look directly to the left you can see the skeleton of one of the original two heads...look for the valonia. I bought this from Unique corals a couple years ago before the price hike of hammers, they had many green to bluish varieties, now they are crazy high or not in stock. The color shown on the website wasn't tampered with so I trust their pictures.

There's Wall-Plate-Branching and in green. . purple. . . gold. . . . neon
