Mcarroll - your thoughts on feeding Nori with sesame oil/salt? Should I stop being lazy and just go back and find a raw, plain, one?

Only if it's unopened and you can return it – otherwise may as well use it or at least try it. You might notice the impact on your skimmer is a little more than normal, but maybe not. I wouldn't worry either way.

Curious if there is any difference between red and green or purple nori other than color? Are there different nutritional benefits?

Do you think its helpful or necessary to presoak the nori, then drain the water before serving?

I think this may be helpful to avoid oil drops and to minimize the impact on the skimmer.
