I've seen them from $10 to over $100. Anybody use the lower priced ones and are they any good? Just started running kalk and want to keep an eye on Ph, without having to break out the salifert test kit all the time. I like the idea of just dipping and getting a reading or if there is something available that constantly monitors Ph without going the Neptune route.

I used to carry a little $20-$30 one in my shirt pocket at work all day. It worked ok as long as it was calibrated often (a couple of times a day in my case, but I used it a dozen times a day). I wouldn't use one at home, only because I couldn't justify making up fresh buffer every day out of my own pocket :). There are stand-alone continuous ph monitors, (pinpoint is one that comes to mind), but they are a few $$

Well there is pin point that works well that's like close to 200 dollars tho so ur better off saving up for a apex ur a third of the way there. Also Hannah sells one i don't know how good that is but u can buy it in a bundle with all the other testers.
I have only used pinpoint which was ok for what I was doing and apex so that's all I can help u out with.
