Awesome! The floating scape is amazing!
Just one thing: You need to throw some money at it just to make the rest of us feel better. It's the only decent thing to do.

oh hahah like i mentioned that it’s an experiment to see if a system can run as simple as it can be. Just to give some motivation. Clear some misconception that a reef system can run at very bare minimum.

This is a super interesting build. I love the idea and am curious to see how it works out long term.
Bdeppen, tank is almost at 2 year mark so it went well than i expected.

I have a 10g IM nano as well so it is always interesting to see how others see them up! :)

Please tell how you made the floating rock:D

Awesome build. Just goes to show that every tank and process is different. Great job.

Its drilled with a bulkhead and pvc. Im starting a new project with a redsea nano. I’ll probably do a diy flying scape article to show how to do it. Keep a look out for it if you’re interested. Fairly simple.

I love the budget. What awesome friends and finds!!!! Green with envy.

How no heater...just curious...not doubting the tank...it clearly works
Yes no heater for the life span of this tank. Winter time room temp is around 70-72 and temp in the tank fluctuate between 65-69 according to my digital temp monitor.

Very cool nano! How's the tank doing?
