Hands in Tank Too Much?

I put my hands in my tank 3 times a week to blow detritus off rocks and to siphon during a WC. are there any proven negative side effects?

How many times a week do you put your hands in your tank?

I never have to put my hands in the water unless I have to correct a frag plug.
There is a few things to keep in mind.
soap and deodorants
If I have to put my hands in the tank I always rinse off with water and paper towel dry.

Only put hands in tank to pick up a plug and before I do I rinse my hands in RODI water and towel dry.

Best advice I was ever given was to keep my hands out of the tank!

It can stress ur fishes and possibly get ich. This happened to me long time ago.

Not u less you have open wounds in which case they could get infected.

It is one of those things that we say try to stay out, but you just cannot do that. I mean, that coral should face the other way, that rock looks better with the 10 degree turn. We all mess around, but really should not.

Try to keep your hands out and if you reach in, wear gloves or make sure to wash before and after! I have had palytoxin, not fun!
