Hands in the tank/gloves or not? A poll

Ok this is something I'm curious about. Who wears gloves when putting their hands in the tank or when doing testing? Who never puts their hands in at all? What livestock require protecting your hands? I use gloves sometimes but they tend to get filled with water. I have used the small disposables when testing with chemicals. How about you?

I don't use gloves for anything. I wash first. I have noticed though that sometimes my arm will rash up and other times it's fine. I don't have anything vicious, but I do have a yellow damsel that thinks he can eat me lol

I'm in the hobby for 9+ years. I never used gloves. A month ago I was cleaning and rearranging corals. Rubbed my eyes and got
pink eye or some sort of bacterial infection. That's what the doctor said. Always wash hands after you dip your hands before and after.

got a pack of tunze gloves work good but they do tear easy if working with rocks

I don't use gloves unless I am fragging. I tend to be a magnet to disaster so I have a don't invite disaster policy. If I'm just moving rock or frags I have a strict wash hands before and after policy with non perfume soap.

I have to use gloves otherwise I constantly get bristles stuck in my fingers, they are so **** annoying.

I only use gloves when dealing with zoas or palys.

I have a friiend that services tanks. She cut herself and got an infection and was in the hospital for over a week very very ill. Something to think about.
Some anemone stings can be deadly.

Are zoas unsafe to handle even when they're in the tank? I know when fragging them extreme caution must be taken.

I only wear gloves when dealing with the corals and anemones. And wash my hands all the way up to my elbow whenever I put my hands in the tank at all. Better to be safe then sorry.

No longer put my hands in my tank without them. Not only to protect my tank but me as well. Was drying my skin out so bad and making my tat look crappy

I use gloves when removing xenia or mixing epoxy because of the smell. I also use them when stirring my refugium sand because it's full of bristle worms. I rinse my entire arm (no soap) before and after putting it in tank. My maxi anenome gave me a weird stingy feeling the first time I touched it so I don't touch it anymore.
