I have this light here and i want to mount it over my sump, the way i was thinking was screwing it to something and laying it on top of the sump, but not sure what material to use. or if someone has a better idea than that would love some help.

Tons of options, a pic of your setup would help to get a better idea of available space. My go to materials typically involve pvc pipes or egg crate.

Here is the sump area, it will go where the heaters are right now, just going to move things around a bit
