Hang on Back Overflow Box for 125 Gallon

I am starting a 125g mixed reef with a 72×18×24ish aqueon non drilled tank. I will be mounting the hob box on the side of tank, so space is not an issue. Tank will be plumbed to drain through wall into sump closet directly in back of tank to triton 44 sump. 1" pipes

Looking for recommendations for hob overflow box. Self prime would be ideal in case of power outage when not home.

I've used CPR hob overflows in the past. They work well and have a safe priming feature. There are many different sizes. Do a web search and find the size right for you. Nothing beats a drilled tank though.

Yes, drilling is best, agreed. . Just curious about the hobs for this thread

I personally wouldn't use anything but a Lifereef overflow. I've had them and they are proven over the years.
