Hang On Back Refugium

I have a nano reef with dwarf seahorses and pipefish. I add 16 OZ of pods to the tank every week, so i am looking to cut down on that. I have seen some people with with hang on refugiums on their nano reefs. The brand I have found is called a finnex 1 gallon hang on refugium. comes with an air pump and light... anyone have any success with this specific brand or hang on refugium in general?

I used to have this one on a 10 gallon . had some live rock and chaeto and grew pods it worked great.

I have that one and so far so good. But I did not get the one with the air pump, I got the other one after many reviews. Very quiet too. Rubble rock, Chaetio and lots of pods. Hope this helps. Amazon prime.

I just got the marina half gallon breeder box of of amazon, and that works fine for me
