Hang on Back Refugiums

Hey There! So I'm looking into getting a hang on back refugium for my 55 gallon tank. Mainly to help out with elevated nitrate and phosphate, and having a safe place for pods to reproduce sounds great.

My question is whether anyone has any experiences between the CPR Aquafuge2 or the Fiji Cube Refugium? There is about $200 difference in price. I'm looking at getting a small or medium aquafuge2 or medium to large Fiji. I don't have room for the large aquafuge2 and that would probably be overkill. Any advice would be appreciated.

Before I added a sump to my 55 gallon I ran the medium sized CPR Refugium. Worked great for my Chaeto

I'm running an aquamaxx hang on back media reactor with some leds wrapped around it as a chaeto reactor. Seems to be working pretty well.

Was under $100 all told.

I ran the aquafuge...flow wasn’t fast enough and it built up a bunch of cyano. I didn’t give it long enough to see if it would clear up before I removed it.
