I would call either BRS or Marine Depot and ask them to recommend HOB skimmer if available.

I have a HOB skimmer on one of my 29 gal tanks. In truth, I hate it compared to my sump skimmers. It works well, most of the time, but as with all skimmers it WILL overflow at some point, draining half the tank water on the floor while you are out shopping or at work. Bottom line, it does what it's supposed to do most of the time, but when it acts up... it acts up for several weeks, and I swear a lot.
