hang on back skimmer

i have a small 20g tank that im running in addition to a larger tank. the 20g is running on a canister filter, and the PH doesnt stay steady, and it has affected some of my zoas and mushrooms (partially closing/shrinking). ive attributed it to lower oxygen in the room, and since its winter, its hard to keep a window open. my question is, will a HOB skimmer help?im not sure if they have an ability to run an airline outside, but im hoping someone here has personal experience with one that might help out.

if the PH issues are caused by too much carbon dioxide in the room (I don't think theres a lack of oxygen, and lower room oxygen doesn’t really effect PH) more aeration wont help

right, but part of that question is, if they have the ability to connect an airline to, i can run that out the window like i do for my larger tanks' skimmer, which would help with oxygen being included

low ph does not equal low oxygen, if your fish are struggling and come up to the surface to breath thats signs of low oxygen, what is your PH and what does it shift to?
