Hang-On fish separator?

I have a baby clownfish that's being bullied by the others. Are there any hang on fish separator products or DIY solutions to split it up until it heals from nipping?

There's alot of options for acclimation boxes that you can hang on the side of a tank. How many clown fish do you have?

Your post is unclear as to whether the little clown is being bullied by other fish in general or by other clownfish in the tank.

I went to Target and I got a clear rectangular acrylic 'box' with holes in it to keep things in. It can sit in the tank with a cover (I made) or hang off the side of the tank at the water's surface. And there are ones you can buy from online aquarium supply sellers.

If it's other clownfish (as in more than one other) I wish you good luck. Unless you have a really big tank, like 180g or more, it's highly unlikely that you can keep more than 2 clownfish for very long. The female (bigger clownfish) will only allow one male to survive unless it can stake out a territory of it's own away from the pair (as in a big tank). Clowns are very territorial and often don't wander over more than a few square feet of tank bottom.

Yes a nice acrylic box stuck to the side of the aquarium would be nice.
Also what kind of fish do you have in your aquarium? Who is doing the bullying?

I had 4 baby 1 inch clownfish in my 20 gallon tank. Eventually the smallest died, which I assume was from bullying, even though it did eat.
Now I have 3 left, and the biggest is picking on the smallest one which is also taking a beating.

And that is going to happen until it dies. You can separate them for as long as you like. The female will never (well 99% of never) accept the 3rd clown in the tank. You really need to re-home it to the LFS or a friend.
