Hang-on skimmer suggestions

I put together a 10g (Aqueon) for my niece and nephew for Christmas, and it finally has water in it and starting to cycle. Does anyone have recommendations for a hang-on skimmer for an aquarium this small? If I have to I can make an in tank skimmer with a small footprint work. Mostly curious what others have had success with.
