Hanging a Viper Spectrum 165 LED

The hanging kit that came with this light I can only seem to adjust it to make it shorter not longer. Any else had this problem and how did u get it to work.

The bottom where the cable comes out i believe has to be pushed in to release the mechanism that stops it from allowing the cable through

Thank you for the feed back, I ended up on screwing one end and in there were 3 tiny ball bearings and it was spring loaded, all I had to do was remove the ball bearings and I good move the cable.

Yup, those spring balls prevent the cable from lowering your fixture. Where it comes out the bottom of the fitting you should be able to push that in and release the cable
