Can i use the HMS hanging kit inside a canopy? is that possible/proper? The canopy is 12'' tall.

I do not think so - because - if its the kit I used, the lights would hang too close to the water. Also I believe that unless you have fans of some kind moving air through the canopy, it would be exceedingly warm. So - depending on how many lights you want to use, and how open the canopy is its probably 'possible' - but perhaps not the best idea? Personally my preference is for 'no canopy' but just use the hanging kit or one of the other mounting options - without a canopy?
