Since I rent, drilling into the ceiling to hang my lights isn’t an option. Anticipating this issue, I built a rack to hang my 8 bulb Sunpower out of 3/4” conduit. Looking at my ATI hanging kit, I’m realizing installation won’t be as streamlined as I had thought. I’ve got a few ideas of how to hang it, but curious to see what some of you guys are doing?

hi why won't it work?

The supplied kit seems like it’s intended to hang from a ceiling, not piping.

Mine sits on t-slot that I siliconed to the trim. It has a door slider on it so I can slide it back out of the way. Sits 4" off the water.

That is neat, but I’ve also got a pair of Reefbrites hanging from my fixture. Plus I kinda want to keep my lights 6-8” off the surface.

I’m going to hit Home Depot after work to see what I can rig up. Ideally I can find some sort of clamp so I can just make a loop around the horizontal conduit.

small chain or cable maybe
