Hanna Alk Checker dkH vs ppm reagent

I ran out of reagent and took a trip to my LFS. Without checking, I picked up the reagent, and when I got it home, realized it's the dkH version instead of the ppm that my checker uses. Is it possible to use it anyway (either more or less)? I'm thinking less, since the instructions for mine say that 1ppm = 0.056 dkH. That's about 18:1 (17.86:1 to be more precise). Could I just use 0.056mL (~1/18mL) of it? Judging by the MSDS for the two, they appear to be the same, most likely just different concentrations.

As I understand it the HI772 reagent is the same for both checkers. The checkers are only different in that one represents as ppm the other as dKH.

Yep, same reagent works in both. I've used them both in the same checker and got identical results.

on this topic what about the reagents for the ULR phosphate checker, seems there are 2 versions sold for the PPB and PPM (new) models. are they actually the same reagents?

I don't know, but...simplicity would say they are. It's easier to reprogram a microcontroller to scale things differently, but not so much to reformulate a reagent.

answer from hanna (in their forum), it would seem all they would have had to do was change the calculations. guess i cant use my old reagent

This is for ULR Phosphate, correct?

I got a tweet from Hanna - for the alkalinity checker, the dkH and ppm reagents are interchangable, you can use either.

The HI772-26 and HI755-26 alkalinity reagent are the same, the HI736-25 phosphorus reagents and HI774-25 phosphate reagents are not the same.

Why I have different reading if I have checker 755, and use reagent 772, whit reagent 755 I have 129 reading, and reagent 772 I have 59, they have to be same or not?
