Hanna alk. Checker

Would like to know if anyone knows how accurate the Hanna alk. Checker is. I think I read some where that it reads .07 higher than recorded, i.e. If it reads 8.07 the true reading would be 8.0.

It seems pretty accurate to me. I also believe the Hanna alk checker only shows to one decimal point.

I use Hanna and salifert and they both test the same each time

I'd expect at least that much uncertainty, but I would not believe any single error number is likely to apply to all users and aquariums..

I use a Hanna Alk checker daily. Over time, I have learned the do's and don't to accurate and consistent readings, but with all testing, trends are always more important than any single test result. I would suspect there is not test out there that would be more accurate than .07 on any given day.
