Hanna alk meter c1 sometimes takes longer.... Why??

Figuring out the hobby one coral at a time.
Only time I notice it, is if the cuvette is dirty(IE fingerprint, smudge, etc). If the cuvette is clean with no smudges, C1 goes through pretty quick.
If I notice C1 taking longer then a few blinks, I take the cuvette out and clean it, and it's back to normal.
