I apologize if this is posted in the wrong forum. Moderators please feel free to redirect if needed. Thanks!

A recent hot topic of the Hanna HI702 High Range Copper Checkers previously designed for freshwater being certified to effectively and reliably work for Saltwater as well has got me thinking if any of the other Hanna Checkers could be used with reliable results in the Marine Hobby. For instance can the readily available HI700 Freshwater Ammonia Checker also provide more reliable results that the currently available color charts on the various test kits that we use now? @Hanna Instruments, what say you?

The HI733 (high range) checked doesn't actually say freshwater only on their site. Wondering if this one would work for saltwater?

Any chance you've developed one in the past two years?
They still don’t have one and it’s been almost 4 years since this post, I didn’t think it would be difficult to make one and considering there is a huge market of people that want them I don’t see why they haven’t yet, it did take them 10 years to come out with a new low range nitrate checker so I guess we have 6 more years until saltwater ammonia checker is made available
