I have both the AlK and Cal hanna checkers and i am throughly pleased with them. The Alk is much easy to use but after using the Cal checker over time it more accurate. The biggest issue was the level that i was putting in my vial. It is really important to make sure the meniscus is measured properly as shown on pic "A" below. When i first used the Cal checker i was not doing this and my readings were very high. Now my API and Hanna checker are practically spot on!

so your saying pic B is what im aiming for? i like that its digital, i just want it to work

I get high readings with my CA checker if my RO water isn't good quality..... I'm going to get some lab grade DI water so its always consistant readings.
