I own the alkalinity checker and the phosphate checker. The alkalinity checker is easy to use. I did buy it before they came out with the one that reads in dKh, and probably would have bought that one if it was available at the time. (It's easy enough to convert by multiplying the reading by 0.056.)
I think I won the phosphate checker at a reef meet raffle. One of these days I'm going to get the ULR phosphorus checker, as I understand that is better for the reef tank application. I do wish instead of the packets of reagents that they provided a tube of the reagent with a properly sized scoop. I often find it hard to make sure I don't spill too much of the reagent from the packet, and it's also hard to make sure you got all (or enough) of the reagent out of the packet as well.
