I love my Hanna ALK checker, it is fast, and accurate. I often don't have "ideal" light when testing, but it doesn't matter since the checker does the work. Also it minimizes the possibility of messing up measuring powders and dropping in reagents one drop at a time.

I am new to reef keeping. I have had our tank for approximately 1.5 years. I am currently having an issue with hair algae. I also recently lost 1/2 my fish for some reason, still haven't figured out why. I am currently using chemical test kits and thought my parameters were all ok. When I took my water sample to my lfs, I found I was not reading the colors correctly. It's all open to interpretation. I have been interested in all the Hanna checkers for quite some time but have not had the money to purchase them. I love the idea that there is no guess work and that you have accurate readings. I feel that if I had the Hanna checkers, I would test more often and would not have the problems I am currently having, or that it would be easier to solve the problems. The ease and portability of the checkers is also appealing.

This is great for those of us with aging eyes. It takes the guesswork out of testing and is more accurate as well. I would gladly trade any of my test kits for one of these! If I don't win I will be purchasing these as I run out of my other kits. Followed and liked on Facebook and I suggest others do the same. They put out some great content!

I like the way hanna checkers are precise and easy. You don't have to guess the color. It's never between 2 numbers. It tells you what really is. This is amazing.
I own the PH(older model), phosphate, alk and calcium. Would love to own the Phosphorus ULR and any other tester you guys have. Just love them all.
