Hanna Checker Kit Vs DKH

Hi,

With the season of offers and deal, which make the decision hard.

On BRS i saw the Hanna Kit 15 % off which include three checker and PH meter.

I have just started my reefing and spend money already buying stuff. I still need to stock up with corals that will be second round of buying.

Now i am not able to decide if it time to buy the Hanna kit or just just DKH would be fine. As i dont have LPS or SPS i might not need that much Calcium testing. but it is the offer that temps me.

So i need you help, to understand if a new reefer need the whole kit or if he can get away with few

If I had it all to do over again, I would pickup the Hanna Alkalinity and use Salifert for the Calcium and other tests you want to run (though I like the Hannah Phosphate checker as well). The other tests are usually done frequently enough to warrant running them at the level of the others. I check my Alk everyday, and with the Hanna it only takes a minute. Im pretty sure my Hanna Calcium checker is on a shelf some where...
