Hello so my Hanna checker keeps reading 200ppb everyday for a week straight is this just low on batter or something?

It should show 'BAT' on the screen. I had that show up on mine a few days ago.

Maybe you're reagent is expired?

If I remember right 200 is as high as it reads so once you go over 200 it just flashes 200 at you.

Change the battery and reagents if you think the instrument is off. It’s really not that hard to change the battery lol

3rd move would be to look down inside the cylinder and look for the little sensor where the device takes a light measurement.... I'd clean that sensor with a QTIP with RODI. Past that maybe use rubbing alcohol. Not sure if cleaning sensor voids the warranty (?)

4th move is to make sure your test vial is completely clean of fingerprints and the vial is not dirty nor stained in any way.

Hold the vial up to a strong light and it has to be 99.9% crystal clear for accurate readings..

any film or residue...you're wasting your time doing tests
