Hanna checker on freshwater?

Any idea what would happen if i used my hi774 on my freshwater tank?

Try it and compare to your regular kH test. Never gave it any thought because I’m only looking for a round about reading on my planted tank.

Couldnt tell you 100% but i know my freshwater nalco chemicals wont read in seawater accurately if at all.

I would guess it is reasonably accurate in freshwater, as long as phosphate is within the normal range for the device.
