Which one one should I be using to monitor phosphates in a sps dominant system. Hanna hr or ulr. Looms like they both go to zero. Thoughts? Also what nitrate and phosphate levels for an sps dominant system. Thx

Also what about phosphorous vs phosphate??? Thx

I use the ulr but you can convert the Phosphorous to phosphate..so maybe a 2 for 1?

For the levels we try to maintain, the HR kit isn't as precise as the ULR.

Phosphate or phosphorus, either one works. One coverts the phosphorus for you to phosphates, the other you use a simple calculation to get from phosphorus to phosphate.

ULR phosphorus is in ppb, then you can convert to phosphate and get three significant digits (ppm) which with tolerances helps with two significant digit accuracy imo.
