Hi all been using salifert test kits was going to get some Hanna checkers which ones best to get and which one first thanks

I have the UL phosphate, PH and Salinity. It's kind of a pain getting the reagent from the packet into the vial. I picked up some tiny funnels on ebay that make it much easier. They often list them for perfume bottles and real cheap.

Stay away from low range nitrate. At all costs. I’ve heard calcium is awful too. Also I totally agree with everyone here. Alk and ulr phosphate. Some people like phosphorous over phosphate. It’s a simple conversion and might be more accurate

The ULR phosphorous is good. The alkalinity checker has a good reputation, but I find that Salifert is just as good and is less expensive.

Agreed. And the Red Sea tests that I use for alk are easy to use at a cheap cost in the bundle. Only reason why I have a ULR Phosphate checker from Hanna is because most of the other phosphate checkers are bad when you’re in need of accurate numbers for phosphate especially.
