I use the phosphorus and high-range nitrate checkers.

Alk for sure. I don't trust the salinity tester, I've had 2 lemons...

Alkalinity and Phosphate are my top 2 picks, also nice to have a Copper checker on hand for QT / treatment tank, if necessary.

I currently have phosphate, Nitrate, Alkalinity and Salinity. I have no issues with them.

ULR Phosphate, HR Nitrate, Alkalinity, Magnesium. That would also be the order for me starting with the best one.

ETA- after seeing another post I agree that the copper checker is important if you’re planning on quarantining with copper. The previous copper test I used was awful.

If I were to use one, it would be the phosphate ULR. I'm not certain I'd use any others, unless there was a reason to do so.
