which of these checkers will be nice to have for acclimating my tank and keeping it in tiptop shape

Fish only you can get away with using Nitrates and phosphates once the tank is running. If going coral, those mentioned prior, then add alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium. Most people seem to use redsea or salifert for magnesium though.
You will want to also check your ammonia, I wouldnt recommend buying a hanna for this the cheaper API ammonia test works fine. But if you want to they also have an ammonia checker.

YOU and the attention to detail with your tank is what will make it shine.

Did you mean tank cycling? You said acclimating?

I like all the Hanna checkers except for the Salinity handheld unit.
I have had two so far and they both were reading low salinity levels.

The API kit for tank cycling is more than adequate. Not precise at all but will work.

Its a daily debate over test kits.
If you go through the endlist threads and the mass of opinions of this one over that one and this is why. You will get a headache of migrane proportions.

From my research I think the Hannas have the edge. Both in ease of use and accuracy.
