Hanna checks alkalinity in accurate

If anyone can screw up a test it is me. I have the Hanna dKH checker and I filled the syringe up to what I thought was the 1 ml line and my results were low compared to Salifert. I noticed the graduated lines went above the 1ml mark and determined that was the actual 1 ml line. I was actually testing with .9 ml instead of 1.0 ml. That could possibly where your error is coming from

I'm still using the Hanna because of its ease and only double check if it gives me a really weird reading. It's about 1.2 dkh difference

That's how mine is also. My corals are driving me nuts I can get my doser to where it's consistently stable. Alk will get high and calcium will get low or vice versa. Pain in my butt

Cant

I have the old older version, it's always with range of the Elos. I checked it a few times. It reads good also with the check reagent they have. But, I had purchased the new dkh version, it was way off. I sent it back to place of purchase. I'll stick to my older model.
