Hanna HR Magnesium checker issues

Just received my hanna magnesium hr checker and ran a test. Results are 0.10ppm. I use coral pro salt how is this so low? Shouldn't it be 13.0 or so? Any feedback on anyone who uses this checker would be great.

Yea i don't think they do make one for mag. I maybe wrong tho

Sry guys. I'm a dumb butt. Its a Maganese tester. Don't think I need that 1. Got to send it back. While I have ppl here tho. What's your recommendation for best magnesium tester? Just bought the Red Sea Pro b4 I saw this post responses. Thanks guys!

Salifert mag works great for me and pretty cheep

Salifert is what I use on the tanks without a trident it works just fine & it's cheap.

This is a very low range reading. From 0ppm to 2ppm, if I read the specs correctly. I wonder if this is for salt water?

Looking through hanna's offerings, I see nothing for Magnesium that's close to SW applicable.

Guys it's not a magnesium tester. Hanna has a Maganese tester. 2 different things. That's how I messed up buying it because the spelling is so similar I didn't even realize it till I ran a test and it was way off.
