Anyone use this?

I do, and I like it better than all the single test units I have collected. I have a Mastertronic on my main display. All my other tanks are tested with this Hanna unit. I also like its Bluetooth connectivity to an app where all the results are stored. I use the unit independently as I test my different tanks (You can create many tank profiles on the unit) and then connect to my iPad via BT and sync everything up.

Does it automatically test for you or do you have to add powders and mix things up for each test?

It is not automatic. You must add and mix reagents and vials like the other units. It will guide you through each test on the screen (you can also shut guidance off, too). It makes testing faster, and I like uploading the data I can manipulate later.

Cool I will look into that. Don’t have the money to buy now though but maybe in the future, I really wanna get the NEPTUNE system so it can all be automated

I find it appalling that they call this a 9 parameter testing device when they count nitrate twice (high and low range). Perhaps they should break it up into 100 ranges and call it a 100 in one tester!

That said, bear in mind you may rarely if ever use some of these capabilities, such as nitrite and ammonia. That's important when comparing the cost to individual devices that you routinely use.

I have one. Since I was just starting out when this became available I bought it rather than a bunch of eggs.

It works well, but I've found I don't really use the BT connectivity much. It does store all the tests you do for several different tanks for download later. However, I just write them down as I go.

One things I've found is that it is much easier to pour the powdered reagents into the wide-mouth cuvette than it is with the small diameter cuvette that came with my copper tester.

The downside to the all-in-one unit is that you can't be running a 2nd test during the reaction time for a 1st. If I had individual eggs, I could be running phosphate and nitrate tests at the same time for example.
