Hanna Measurement's TDS DiST 1 Tester Use?

Hey Everyone,
So I just bought the Hanna TDS DiST 1 tester and I just had some questions about it.
So what does it exactly measure does it measure,does is measure RODI water purity or something else. Also is 189ppm a good result or is that bad if it does measure RODI purity.
