Hanna Nitrate HR vs. LR?

Is the Hanna HR or LR nitrate checker a better overall product for an average reef hobbyist?

The HR is the better choice for most hobbyists. Much easier to use and tests a higher range. Get the LR only if you want super accurate readings between 0-5 ppm.

I use HR one and love it! No experiences with LR but it seems a bit more complicated and dilutions might be needed.

Don't bother with the low range unless you want to run an ULNS tank which isn't even that popular anymore given how many people end up with dinos and cyano.

Dont make the mistake of getting the low range checker. I have not used it once since I got it....

For the hobby level, stick to the HR checker.

The LR checker is far too complicated and the higher precision just doesn't matter for a reef tank.

Uff im glad I purchased the HR... Dre from WWC recommended it after I asked 10 times lol.
