Hanna nitrate regent powder (tips)

It's a pain in the butt to get the powder from the packet to the test tube. Anyone have any tricks or tips?

cut along the lines on the packet, from there you fold to make a funnel, easy peasy...

That video is for the low range tester I am assuming you have the high range which is just powder reagent.

I 3D printed a funnel so I can flick the packet hard and not spill the contents.

about half way thru the video ( mark 2:27) its shows you how to do for powder reagents...

I use 4x4" weighing paper, fold in half, then dump the packet content onto the paper, then you can easily add to the vial by tilting the weighing paper and flicking a couple times with you finger.

You can buy weighing paper online for pennies.


The 3D printed funnel is way cooler, but weighing paper works great too.

I also use a sheet of folded paper, this stuff seems to get everywhere vs the phosphorus regent.

I would think it would stick to the segmentation of the 3d print inside the funnel (we need pictures)
