Hanna ph meter verses Red Sea ph test

I have run tests on new 40 gal cube water with these results: 11-9: Hanna PH 8.4
Red Sea 8.2
11-15: Hanna 8.6
Red Sea 8.2
Being brand new noob to reefing, which reading should I take as accurate?

I'm generally not a fan of pH test kits (since they cannot easily be checked), but many folks have issues with the Hanna pH meter.

That said, pH 8.6 would only be attained if you were dosing large amounts of very high pH additives such as limewater (kalkwasser).

I expect the pH is well below 8.6.

I pick red sea over hana any day. Hana just has more variable to go wrong than red sea, in my opinion I would trust the red sea reading - kali

The Milwaukee Ph meter allowed me to stop testing PH. Huge save of time
