Hey everyone. I just received my Hanna checker and honestly, I’ve confused myself on what phosphate level i should be shooting for. I keep reading that I need to be around .02. Today I tested with a .28 and started panicking. But I have no algae problems and my corals looks fine. If this level is too high should I run phosguard in my sump for 4 days and re test?

Don’t shoot for “ideal” numbers. Every aquarium is different. No algae, no problem. But then again, you’ll get dozens of opinions so read and weigh your options before making any significant change.

That seems high. Take a look at this video and try another test - it has some good tips such as keeping the cuvette clean and being consistent in the cuvette placement, which may skew the results.
