so i was having problems with my 713 hanna checker always reading 0 so i went to a lfs store and purchased the 736 ulr phosphorus by mistake cant take it back becuz i opened it and threw out the box is this good or do i need the 774 ulr phosphate checker

Not really, the 736 works just fine. To convert ppb phosphorous to phosphate, multiply by 3.066, then divide by 1000.

So if you get a reading of 20 ppb, 20 x 3.066 = 61.32 / 1000 = .06 ppm phosphate

The 736 and 774 do the exact same thing, the 774 just does that math for you.

Ya you can do the smart thing hahahah

I am way to lazy to do that ;Hilarious

ok so i just did the test got 15 according to the chart sleeping giant gave me by the way thnks its 0.046 so is this high or low

still don’t understand the number 0.046 is it 0.046 meaning it’s high or is it 0.04 meaning it’s low I’m used to my regular checker not sure if I like this one a bit complicated

I bought the ppb (that tells me anywhere from 0-30. Then again I had 0 and was having issues so i had to dose. It was pretty convenient to be able to check a few days after dosing you see exactly what stayed.

Do you have an apex? If so it will auto covert and log it for you. I use the ulr phosphorous and just plug in the indicated value...no math needed.
