Hanna phosphorus checker

So I have a hanna phosphorus url (HI736) ppb. Since I have used it, only once has it read 50 instead of 200 while it blinks. I have ordered a calibration fluid. But my question is this, i see people talking ppm for phosphorus, is there a formula in suppose to do to get an accurate reading?
