ok so normally i always concern about my phophate and my weekly test show around 0.5ppm on Hanna Phosphate HR. And today i just received my Hanna Phosphorous ULR and it show 13ppb that 0.04ppm so why they both different ???

What you are seeing is within the accuracy of of the HR phosphate checker.

If the actual reading is 0.04ppm it can read up to 1ppm and be within its listed accuracy.

So 13ppb could fall into a range between 8ppb and 18ppb.

Much better accuracy at low phosphate levels.
 
wow thank guy, i should have use the ULR awhile ago so i don’t need to chase that number till now, it make a peace in mind for me right now.

edit: never seen anyone use this Hanna. Too high of range.

The HI717 High Range Phosphate Meter has not been tested for saltwater and uses a different method than the HI713 or HI736.
