Hanna salinity and temp checker

Hey all. I got my refractometer second hand and it's starting to wear out. There is corrosion on the metal pins that allow the flap to open and close. The problem is that the flap doesnt move freely and I'm starting to get bad readings. I have to keep playing with it to get it to read correctly. I use calibration fluid so it's working for the most part. I digress.

Has anyone had any experience with the hanna sg and temp checker? What are your thoughts? Is it worth the price?
