Hanna Salinity Tester Issue

Received my Hanna Salinity tester today. I tried pressing the power button to turn it on but it won't start. Should I try replacing the battery or is there something else I have to do. Thanks!

I think that’s a good idea. Replace the battery and try again. If it still doesn’t work, you may want to return it.

When I got mine. .
I believe I had to install the battery and follow the setup instructions .
