Is the Hanna high range copper tester suitable for copper testing in QT? Looking to medicate with Cupramine. According to the Instructions, dosing should be 0.5 mg/L. The Hanna tester reads in PPM. So, that should equate to 0.5pmm, correct? I do not see a low range Hanna tester and just want to make sure this will work before spending $50 on a tester I wouldn't be able to use.

The Hannah HR copper test is excellent choice for QT.

I use cupramine for treatment and this tester works perfectly with it.

Killed my 1st fish (six line wrasse) with copper and the api copper test after it got ich.

Treated my other fish (ocellarius clown) with the same copper treatment but tested with Hannah and it went on to survive and thrive.

Agree! And even better if you use copper power at 1.75 ppm.

I use a Hanna copper checker and copper safe. It has single handidly made my QT process as successful as it has been.
