Does anyone's Hanna randomly give them a high reading. For example I hover from around .00 -.05 and twice now I have got a reading in the .45 range and on recheck it is back to a lower number. Am I doing something wrong? What would lead to a random high reading?

I have the same one and mine is pretty consistent. From the other posts I read on this forum, not waiting the full 3 minutes, and fingerprints on the vial, are the 2 usual suspects for misreads.

mine dont, but out of habit, if it takes more than 4 sec to get a reading on the blank sample i cancel that test by clicking the button again till it reads 0.00. Then i redo the test and the checker will read the blank in about 4 blinks of the lines. Works better that way...
