Hey guys, picked up a Hanna checker because I wanted a reliable way to measure phosphate (or phosphorous in this case) because I believe my nutrients are a limiting factor in my reef. I ran a test yesterday, and got a reading of 0.02 on the display, and today a reading of 0.07. I did the conversion to get this to ppm from ppb and got 0.0002. Is this correct? Or is the device I have converting it to ppm for me? If I am correct in my math, that is crazy crazy low, or am I crazy? Thanks for the help!

Nevermind I am an idiot, and not crazy. I have the HI774 that measures in ppm. Oops!

Hanna confused us all by releasing the HI774 sometime late last year. Just make sure to get the correct reagent! :-)

If only they had one for nitrate as well. Maybe someday!

Edit: They do, surprised I have never seen this before. DELETE THIS THREAD I AM EMBARRASSING MYSELF

Really? I only see Nitrite checker. What is the number of the nitrATE checker that you found?

Please don’t say it was one of the BRS 1-Apr special offers like the sand roomba, or never ending, nonexhaustible GFO.

You're right Nitrite, got ahead of myself.
